We are delighted that during the summer school holidays we will be having camp fire storytelling sessions on Tuesday evenings.
Professional storyteller Milly Jackdaw will be sharing tales of Snowdonia myths and legends around the camp fire in the woods. Watch out for giants, dragons and maybe the odd ghostly tale…
Milly gives us a little insight into why she loves sharing her stories:
“Stories entertain, educate, uplift, reconnect and amuse us. I love telling for all these reasons but what drives me most is the desire to inspire wonder in the natural world. I enjoy exploring how landscape, human psyche and folklore all reflect each other and I am inspired by the power of stories to mirror our own journey and help us along the way. I tell stories for children and adults and particularly enjoy working in the wilds.”
You can see more about Milly Jackdaw on her web site.
Storytelling at Graig Wen will take place on the following dates:
Tuesday 30th May
Tuesday 8th August
Tuesday 15th August
Tuesday 22nd August
Tuesday 29th August
You don’t have to pre-book tickets, just pop into reception while you are here and we will tell you more. All guests staying at Graig Wen and The Slate Shed B & B are welcome!
